Banknote Security Features Training
Learn to recognize banknote security features and counterfeits.
Because the euro is widely used and high-value, quality counterfeits are more common. To reduce risks, Eurex offers banknote security training.
The training is mainly for businesses and people who frequently handle cash (retail staff, hotel and restaurant employees, casino staff, etc.). You can choose between three types of training:
- – Euro banknote security features
- – Security features of the most common foreign currencies
- – Security features of euro and foreign banknotes
During the training you will learn
- Which banknotes are in circulation
- Different security features
- How to distinguish counterfeit from genuine (including seeing/touching counterfeits)
- How to use scanners, UV lamps and other verification tools
Practical information
Trainings are held at Eurex head office, but we can also come to the client’s office if needed. The training is led by Eurex’s head cashier with 15 years of experience.
Training price starts from 100 €and depends on the selected training type, number of participants (max 10) and location. Training duration is 1–2 hours.
