To send money with MoneyGram you only need an identity document and cash. You do not need to open an account to send or receive money. To receive money, the recipient must visit a local MoneyGram office, present an ID document, and provide the transfer’s unique code.
A transfer takes only 10–15 minutes. The recipient can collect money anywhere in the world within 10–15 minutes, depending on office hours and local rules.
How to send money with MoneyGram
- • Visit an Eurex office
- • Provide recipient details (first and last name, recipient country)
- • Pay the transfer amount and service fee to our teller
- • Transfers can be made in euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD)
- • The teller provides the transfer code
- • Share the code and sent amount with the recipient
How to receive money with MoneyGram
- • To receive money, visit an Eurex office
- • Show a valid ID document (passport, ID card, driver’s license, residence permit, etc.)
- • Tell the teller the transfer amount and the unique code
- • Our teller checks the transaction in the MoneyGram system and pays out the money
- • Payouts are made in US dollars (USD). We can also exchange USD to your preferred currency.
